Snapix is a fast, private screenshot app for Mac.
Snapix replaces the built-in macOS screenshot tool with one-click capture, a 15-tool annotation editor, blur and redact tools, and on-device text extraction (OCR) — all running on your Mac, so your screenshots stay with you.
Snapix is a screenshot app for macOS 14 and later that lives in your menu bar and replaces the built-in capture tool with professional features. It captures area, window, or full-screen shots with pixel-perfect crosshairs, then drops each one into a floating preview with one-click actions: annotate with 15 tools, blur sensitive data, extract text with on-device OCR, pin the screenshot above every window, or drag it straight into any app. Everything happens locally — captures and extracted text stay on the Mac; the app connects to the network only for account sign-in, subscription status, and update checks. Snapix Pro is $24/year after a 14-day free trial and is a direct download, built and supported by independent developer Elisei Nicolae.
